Magazine Design and Jersey Re-Design

This self project is an update of a senior project from many years ago. I enjoyed it so much that I wanted to re-vamp and modernize it centering around my favorite player on my favorite team. I wanted to provide a believable cover from ESPN Magazine and a two-page spread to match.
For the jersey, the re-design was pretty straightforward. When the Kings revealed that their third jersey would be using the crown from their early years, I was excited. But I also really liked the recently updated Chevron Logo re-design executed by House Industries. I wanted to bring the numbers and typography from the home/away jersey to the alternate, third jersey.
